Traveling by public transport

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is not directly connected to the city’s regular public transport network, which is why most racegoers choose to drive, use rideshare services, or stay at nearby campsites. Even so, fans without a car still have several practical options for reaching the track.

Race-day shuttles

During NASCAR race weekends, shuttle buses run between selected parking areas, campgrounds, and Speedway entry points. Services usually begin a few hours before the race and continue after the event until all spectators have left the venue. Queues can form immediately after the chequered flag, but once boarding starts, shuttles tend to clear crowds efficiently.

Speedway Shuttle Program

On race day, LVMS typically operates its Speedway Shuttle Program, offering a straightforward and comfortable way to get to the circuit (based on the 2025 fall race):

• Reserved seats on air-conditioned luxury motorcoaches
• Three departure locations: Planet Hollywood (Las Vegas Strip), Treasure Island (Las Vegas Strip), and Circa (Downtown Las Vegas)
• All shuttles leave their pickup points in the morning on Sunday (TBC)
• Direct drop-off and return service at the Speedway

Arriving in Las Vegas by bus or train

• Bus: Long-distance services such as Greyhound and FlixBus operate to downtown Las Vegas, roughly a 20-minute drive from the Speedway. From there, fans will need to continue by taxi, rideshare, or rental car.
• Train: Las Vegas does not currently have direct Amtrak service. Some regional rail-to-bus connections reach Southern Nevada, but visitors should plan ahead for local transport – such as taxis, rideshare, or shuttles – for the final journey to the track.
